If you have been screaming at others about how karma will get back,
you are either young, inexperienced, senile, forgetful, or plain lucky.
Because if you are not one of the above,
you will eventually realize that life is unfair.
If you are sensitive and aware,
you'll acknowledge that people do suffer for no fault of theirs.
As you would have also seen looters, murderers, or corrupt politicians
thrive and live long healthy lives.
The length or even the quality of one's life
is not a testament of good karma.
We also need to understand that being a bookkeeper of others' karma,
does not add up to one's own good karma.
Stigmatizing any illness or tragedy and attributing it to poor karma or stupidity,
only shows one's insensitivity and loss of connect from one's humanness.
What can happen to others, can happen to you and me too.
The basic fundament of karma is to just continue doing good deeds
without any conditions, because
good deeds are not to be done with any expectations;
they are to be done because doing good is what feels right.
Yes, we are angry about ignorant people
without masks, getting infected;
but the bigger worry is, them
infecting the innocent and the vulnerable.
Let's try our best to guide, protect, warn, and save.
Let's be Guardians, Warriors, maybe even Angels.
But let's not be GODS.
